What is Emerald Laser?
Emerald Laser, made by Erchonia, is a low-level laser treatment for the body. It uses green laser light at a low, non-heating level, so nothing is cut, frozen or injected. The light is designed to prompt fat cells in the treated area to release some of their stored contents, which the body then clears naturally. The fat cells themselves are not destroyed. The aim is a gradual reduction in the measurements of areas such as the waist, hips and thighs.
At A Aesthetics we offer Emerald Laser as a course, planned around the areas you want to address. It is not a weight-loss treatment and works best alongside a balanced diet and regular activity. Your practitioner will advise whether it, or another option such as EMSCULPT NEO, is the better fit for you.

How Emerald Laser works
Emerald Laser works without heat or surgery. Its approach rests on three things.
Low-level green laser light
Laser diodes pass green light over the treatment area. It is a low-level, non-heating laser, so the skin is not cut or burned.
Fat released, not destroyed
The light is designed to make fat cells release some of their stored contents, which your body then processes through its lymphatic system. The cells shrink and are not destroyed.
Gradual change over a course
Any change in measurements tends to build over a course of sessions and varies from person to person.

No. It is a body contouring treatment aimed at specific areas, and it works best alongside a balanced diet and regular activity.

How many sessions will I need?

How is it different from EMSCULPT NEO?
Emerald Laser uses low-level light and is aimed at fat. EMSCULPT NEO uses radiofrequency and electromagnetic energy and is designed to address both fat and muscle tone. Your practitioner will advise which option, or combination, suits you.
Who should not have Emerald Laser?
It is not recommended during pregnancy. It may not be suitable if you have certain medical conditions or implanted devices, so we check your full medical history at your consultation.
