EMFACE by BTL is a needle-free treatment designed to lift and tone the face by working on the muscles and the skin at the same time. Synchronised radiofrequency warms the skin to support firmness, while HIFES muscle stimulation gently tones the facial muscles that support your cheeks and brows. Preparation
Your skin is cleansed and free of make-up, then the soft applicators are placed on your forehead and cheeks.
Your treatment
You relax for around twenty minutes while you feel gentle warmth and light muscle pulses. There are no needles and no anaesthetic.
Aftercare and results
There is usually no downtime, so you can return to your day straight away. Any lift and tone build gradually over the weeks after your course.

EMFACE FAQs
Does EMFACE hurt?
Most people find it comfortable. You will feel a warming sensation and gentle muscle activation under the applicators, rather than any pain. No numbing is needed.
Is there any downtime?
Usually none. You can return to work and your normal routine straight after each session. Some people notice slight warmth or redness for a short while, which settles quickly.
How many sessions will I need?
EMFACE is delivered as a short course, usually around four sessions spaced about a week apart. We will recommend the right plan for you at your consultation.
When will I see results?
Results build gradually over the weeks after your course as the skin firms and the muscles tone, so the change looks natural rather than sudden.
How long do results last?
Results vary from person to person and the face continues to age naturally. Many people choose occasional maintenance sessions to keep their result, which we can discuss with you.
Is EMFACE an alternative to injectables or a facelift?
It is a different approach. EMFACE works by toning the skin and muscle, and it is not a substitute for surgery. Some patients combine it with dermal filler or skin boosters for a more complete result.
Is there anyone who should not have EMFACE?
EMFACE is not suitable during pregnancy, or for people with a pacemaker or metal or electronic implants in the treatment area. We check your medical history carefully at your consultation before any treatment.
