EMSCULPT NEO by BTL is a body contouring treatment designed to do two things in a single session: reduce fat and build muscle. It combines radiofrequency heating with high-intensity electromagnetic muscle stimulation to help create a firmer, more toned shape without surgery, needles or time off.
We offer EMSCULPT NEO at our Coleraine and Derry/Londonderry clinics for people who are already close to their goal but have areas that do not respond to diet and exercise, such as the abdomen, buttocks, arms, thighs or calves. It can be paired with lymphatic therapies, and your plan is agreed with a member of our medical team at your consultation.

A flat applicator is secured over the treatment area and delivers two types of energy at the same time.

We discuss the areas you want to change, check your medical history and confirm EMSCULPT NEO is right for you. Your consultation is complimentary.
Preparation
Wear comfortable clothing. The applicator is positioned over the area and secured with a strap, and the intensity is set to suit you.
Your treatment
You lie back for around 30 minutes and feel strong muscle contractions with a warming sensation, much like an intense workout while lying down.
Aftercare and results
There is usually no downtime, though muscles may feel as if you have exercised. Results develop over the weeks after your course.

No. It is body contouring for people who are already close to their goal weight and want to reduce stubborn fat and tone specific areas.
Does it hurt?
You will feel strong muscle contractions and a warming sensation. Most people find it comfortable, and the intensity is adjusted to suit you throughout the session.
Is there any downtime?
Usually none. You can go straight back to your day. Your muscles may feel a little like they do after a workout for a day or two.
How many sessions will I need?
A typical course is around four sessions spaced about a week apart, but this depends on the area and your goals. We will recommend a plan at your consultation.
When will I see results?
Results develop gradually over the weeks and months following your course, as fat is cleared naturally and muscle strengthens. Results vary from person to person.
Do I still need to exercise and eat well?
Yes. EMSCULPT NEO supports a healthy lifestyle rather than replacing it, and keeping active helps you maintain your result.
Is there anyone who should not have EMSCULPT NEO?
It is not suitable during pregnancy, or for people with a pacemaker or metal or electronic implants near the treatment area. We check your medical history at your consultation before any treatment.
