Our story
A Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics clinic in Northern Ireland, registered with the RQIA and trusted by patients across Coleraine and Derry/Londonderry. We were built on a simple belief: aesthetic treatments are medical treatments, and they deserve medical standards of care, honesty and aftercare.
We are known for natural-looking results delivered safely, by qualified medical professionals who take the time to understand what you actually want. There is no pressure and no one-size-fits-all approach. Every plan starts with a thorough consultation, where we listen, assess your skin and your health, and explain your options clearly, including when a treatment is not right for you.

With more than 20 years in nursing, Noeleen is an aesthetic nurse practitioner and clinical educator with a special interest in women’s health.
Nurse Shona
NURSE PRACTITIONER
With a background in acute medicine and community nursing in Australia and the UK, Shona focuses on subtle, considered treatments that enhance your natural features.

About A Aesthetics: your questions answered
Who will carry out my treatment?
Your treatment is planned and carried out by our qualified medical and clinical team, led by Dr Ahrooran Sivakumar and Nurse Prescriber Duvessa. Prescription treatments are only ever prescribed after a face-to-face consultation with a doctor or nurse prescriber.
Is A Aesthetics regulated?
Yes. We are registered with the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA), the independent regulator of health and social care in Northern Ireland, so our safety and clinical standards are independently inspected.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. Every treatment starts with a complimentary consultation, where we talk through your goals and medical history, assess your skin and explain your options, including any risks and realistic results. Not every treatment is suitable for everyone, and we will always tell you honestly if something is not right for you.
Who are your treatments suitable for?
Our treatments are for adults aged 18 and over. Suitability depends on your health, medications and goals, which we check carefully at your consultation.
