What is exosome therapy?
Exosomes are tiny messengers that cells use to communicate. They carry proteins, lipids and genetic signals that help guide the skin’s natural repair and renewal. The exosomes we use are salmon-derived, and when delivered into the skin they are designed to support collagen production, hydration and a calmer, more even complexion.

Preparation
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and a numbing cream is applied, so microneedling feels as comfortable as possible.

We microneedle the treatment area, apply the exosomes, then finish with TargetCool to help calm the skin.
Aftercare and results
Mild redness usually settles within a day or two. Avoid make-up for 24 hours and wear daily SPF. Results build over a course of 2 sessions.

Exosome therapy FAQs
Does exosome therapy hurt?
Most people describe it as mild. We apply a numbing cream before microneedling, and the TargetCool cooling at the end leaves the skin feeling calm and comfortable.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Your skin may look pink, similar to mild sunburn, for a day or so after microneedling. We advise avoiding make-up for 24 hours, and avoiding strenuous exercise, saunas and direct sun for a few days.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients have a course of 2 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. The exact plan depends on your skin and goals, and we confirm it at your consultation.
When will I see results?
Many people notice fresher, calmer skin within a week or two. Improvements in texture, tone and firmness build gradually as your skin renews, with the effect growing with each session.
How long do results last?
Results vary from person to person and depend on your skin, age and lifestyle. Benefits can build with each session, and many patients book occasional maintenance sessions to keep their skin at its best.
Who should not have exosome therapy?
Because our exosomes are derived from salmon, the treatment is not suitable if you have a fish allergy. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have an active skin infection or open wound in the treatment area. We check your full medical history at your consultation.
Can I combine exosomes with other treatments?
Yes. Exosome therapy works well as part of a wider skin booster plan, alongside polynucleotides or MediLux LED therapy. We plan the timing so each treatment supports the next.
